Linkpile Privacy Policy

Effective 22 September 2026 · Android app com.printmov.linksaver by PRINTmov

In short: Your links and notes are stored only on your phone. Linkpile has no account, no ads and no analytics, and there is no Linkpile server. The developer never receives your data.

What Linkpile stores on your phone

This data stays on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Link previews and the internet

To build a preview, Linkpile opens the page you saved directly from your phone, just like your browser would, and reads its title, description and picture. That website sees an ordinary visit from your phone (for example your IP address), as it would if you opened the link yourself. How that website handles visits is covered by its own privacy policy.

Linkpile only contacts the websites of links you save. It does not send your links, notes or any other data anywhere else.

Backups

When you export a backup, the file is saved to a location you choose, and you decide what happens to it.

If you use Android's own device backup, Android may include Linkpile's data in your personal backup to your Google account. This is controlled by you in Android settings and handled under Google's privacy policy.

Children

Linkpile is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
