Belle Launcher Privacy Policy
In short: Belle does not collect, upload or share any of your data. It has no internet permission, so it cannot send anything off your phone. There are no ads, no accounts and no analytics.
What Belle stores on your phone
To work as your home screen, Belle saves your settings on your device only:
- Your home screens, folders, widgets and shortcut bars
- Custom app names, custom icons and your chosen icon pack
- Wallpapers you pick for your pages
- Your theme and grid settings
This data never leaves your phone. It is deleted when you uninstall Belle.
Installed apps
Belle reads the list of apps installed on your phone so it can show them in the app menu and on your home screens. This list is used only on your device.
Notification access (optional)
If you turn on notification access for Belle yourself in Android settings, Belle uses it to:
- show your recent notifications in the Belle Social widget, and
- show what music is playing.
Notifications are only kept in memory while Belle is running, to display them. They are never saved, uploaded or shared. Belle works normally without this access, and you can turn it off at any time in Android settings.
Calendar (optional)
If you allow it, Belle reads your calendar events to show them in the calendar widget. Your events are only displayed on your screen and are never saved or shared by Belle.
Uninstalling apps
Belle can ask Android to uninstall an app when you choose Uninstall in its menu. Android always asks you to confirm.
Backups and imports
When you back up Belle, the file is saved to a location you choose, and you decide what happens to it. When you restore a backup or import a Microsoft Launcher backup, Belle only reads the file you pick.
Children
Belle Launcher is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
